TautFlex Air's versatility opens the door to endless creative possibilities. It's the ideal tool for interior and exterior projects, finding its canvas on surfaces such as tautliners, banners, marquees, tarpaulins, tire covers, furniture, seats, blinds, luggage, shoes and more. Its exceptional adhesion extends to cast and calendered vinyl, magnetic sheeting, paper, fabric, glass, ceramics and suitably primed rigid surfaces.
While it's renowned for its strong adhesion, it's advisable to perform adhesion tests on unfamiliar materials. Please note that TautFlex Air is not suitable for use on corflute, polypropylene or acrylic surfaces.

Please note, TautFlex Air should not be used on corflute, polypropylene or acrylic surfaces without priming.
TautFlex Air has a thin consistency and is ready to use with an airbrush, conventional spray or HVLP system. Before application, ensure you shake the bottle thoroughly for at least 30 seconds.
Thiswater-based coat comes in 250 ml bottles.
TautFlex Air is available in 26 stock colours, plus clear, black and white. These colours use lightfast pigments, ensuring excellent opacity and durability. You can freely intermix all colours in any proportion to achieve your desired shade.
You can also apply two-pack clear coats, such as polyurethane and acrylic urethanes, over TautFlex Air. The solvents provide excellent adhesion, ensuring a long-lasting finish.
To keep your airbrush in top condition, avoid letting paint dry in it. When not in use, simply run clear water through the brush. If you notice any paint buildup, soak the brush in Viponds Prep Vinyl to soften the paint. Then, run a 50/50 mixture of water and Prep Vinyl through the brush for a thorough clean.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Always seal the container tightly to prevent air from entering and causing thewater-based coat to dry out.
Absolutely. TautFlex Air is water-based, making it easy to clean, non-hazardous and safer to use.
While the pigments used in TautFlex Air are designed for exterior use, it's best to apply a coat of TautFlex UV Clear to ensure maximum longevity.
