Viponds Acrylic Concrete and Masonry Sealer is a water thinned acrylic clear for sealing concrete and masonry. It penetrates the surface to form a thin coating that will prevent efflorescence coming to the surface. Ideal for uses such as improving cleanability and sweeping of concrete. One coat is suitable for sealing where using it for clear coat applications such as lifting gloss level of the surface two coats minimum is recommended.

To achieve the best results with the Viponds Concrete Sealer, a comprehensive approach is essential. This concrete sealing primer should be applied in thin, even coats using a high-quality roller, brush or spray equipment.
If used solely as a sealer, one coat will suffice. If you wish for it to function as a clear coat, apply a minimum of two layers for optimal protection and a polished finish. Allow ample drying time between coats, as directed by the product's instructions. This careful application will safeguard your concrete surfaces and reveal a sleek, professional aesthetic.
Proper surface preparation is critical for optimal adhesion and durability when applying a concrete primer and sealer. Before starting, ensure new concrete has cured for at least a month, ideally three, to reach full strength. Thoroughly clean the surface, removing all dirt, grease and old coatings.
Next, acid etch the concrete using a diluted muriatic acid solution (1 part acid to 3 parts water). Apply the solution with a stiff broom, allow it to react for at least 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Remember to follow the specific instructions provided with your chosen products.
